Rates & Policies

Therapeutic Massage: I customize each session to your requested focus, needs, and comfort level.  I blend deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and various other modalities as appropriate to accomplish your goals.  Therefore, my rates are based solely on the length of the session, as follows:

30 minutes*…$60

60 minutes…$100

75 minutes…$120

90 minutes…$140

*30-minute massages:  A short massage session is useful in certain, very limited circumstances, and I will let you know if I think it's the right length of time for you.  Because it is usually not the best option, I don't allow online booking of 30-minute sessions.

No-Tipping Policy: I own the business and I set the prices.  If I feel underpaid, I'll raise my rates.

Payment:  I accept payment by cash or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express).  If you plan to pay with cash, please be aware that I'm usually not set up to make change.

Cancellations and No-Shows: Please be kind.  If you can't keep your appointment, give me 24 hours notice so I can make your appointment time available to another client.  Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are subject to a charge equal to 50% of the price of the session booked, though at my discretion I will waive this fee (if you are feeling under the weather, PLEASE stay home, my treat; just let me know you aren't coming in).  A client who fails to give any notice of cancellation (i.e. a no-show) will be charged 100% of the cost of the session missed (again, please just let me know you aren't coming in).

Gift certificates: I stopped selling gift certificates when I realized that very few of them ever get redeemed.  As a frugal person, waste annoys me on principle, so I've decided to stop being part of the problem.  If you are a past giver of an unused gift certificate to my business, by the way, feel to reach out for a refund--it would make my day to accommodate you.

COVID-19: is easily transmitted via close, sustained contact, like most viruses, and current preventative measures (inoculations, masks, etc.) have not been shown to prevent transmission. Therefore, if you are not comfortable accepting the risk of asymptomatic spread, please do not book an appointment.
